Privacy Policy
Effective date: 24 September 2026
Pace Tape is an iOS app by Vladyslav Filon: a pace, speed and time calculator for swimming, cycling, running and triathlon. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: the app does not collect any personal data.
What the app stores on your device
So that it opens the way you left it, the app saves your settings (theme, language, units, haptics and ticker jokes), the last sport you used together with the numbers you entered, and whether you have finished the in-app tips. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. None of it is uploaded anywhere and none of it is ever seen by us. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. It may be included in your device backups (iCloud or computer backups) according to your own iOS settings.
No internet connection
Pace Tape works completely offline. It does not connect to any server, and every calculation happens on your device.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-up.
- No ads, analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
- No access to your location, health data, contacts, camera or photos.
- No collection of names, email addresses or any other personal data.
- No data sold or shared with anyone.
Apple
Downloads are handled by the App Store under Apple's own privacy policy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide anonymous, aggregated statistics and crash reports. They are used only to fix bugs.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the effective date changed. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
